Your Photos Easter Egg Treat

Like many people, I was just thinking about all the Easter holidays I've spent with family and loved ones, and I longed to see some photos from years past. The search feature in Photos has gotten better every year so it seemed like a decent test to use it for an Easter retrospective. I figured that Photos could identify a decorated egg or an Easter bunny, but didn't know how good the search feature might be, what with Easter being a different date each year.

Sure enough, when I searched on "Easter," Photos was able to find over 4 dozen pictures from years past, going back to 2001 and our first Easter trip to visit family in Jacksonville. 

What a hoot! 

To try out the search feature yourself, just open up Photos on your iPhone or Mac and enter your word in the Search field or ask "Hey, Siri, show me all my pictures of . . ."
