Do You Know Where Your Summer Went?
Summertime. Save the memories.
Today is the last day of Summer. Weather's changing. Long pants. Suddenly you can find pumpkin spice everything. Ah, summer. It was an odd one, to be sure, but we will not get another one (hopefully) like it so you really can't let it go without a bit of reflection and tribute.
Here's a quick way to do that with a Slideshow on your iPhone.
Open up Photos and go to the Library > Days tab. This shows you the best photos (sans screenshots and clutter) to choose from.
Scroll back to, oh, let's say June 20 (first day of Summer).
Hit the Select button and start choosing your favorite photos and videos all the way to now. Thirty to forty will do, but follow your heart.
Once you've selected all your cool, funny, beautiful, nostalgic shots, click on the Share button
In the Share menu, touch the screen just above the Copy Photos button and slide up to reveal more choices.
Pick the Slideshow button.
Once the Slideshow loads, you can touch it to pause and bring up the Options button where you can choose music, playback speed, and style of Slideshow.
There is one thing, though. Like Summer, the slideshow disappears once you're done. It can't be saved or shared except to Airplay. A one time treat to be experienced, cherished, and committed to memory.
What you can do, though, is save your selection to an Album where you can quickly Select All and create a new Slideshow whenever you need a little reflection.
